I believe that journalists are so encapsulated in their own little fantasy world, they have not realized they are not trusted and that their claims of Searchers For The Truth simply sounds hollow on the U.S. citizen’s ears. After decades and decades of dishing out full partisan “information,” never correcting and apologizing when they got something wrong and not striving to avoid repeating the same mistakes, We The People simply stopped trusting them. At best, we see them as Spoke-Persons for and Public Relations representatives who are to be paid but the smallest of attentions and only to hear what kind of propaganda their political master are dishing out that day.

Now Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has the immense responsibility of cleaning and securing the Pentagon which has been a sieve when it comes to secure information kept secured¹. And it is not because the leaking was unknown to previous administrations, but because everybody was afraid to step on the tooes-ies of journalist lest they would write mean things about them. Unfortunately for Media, they had already said all the bad things they wanted to say about the new occupants of the Executive Branch who happened not to care what they are called or what they are falsely accused of.
