But wait, there is more Gun Control Necromancy
With a big dash of Lying sauce.
This one made me laugh a lot. Trayvon was a thug who met his demise by a mixture of stupid machismo and poor victim selection. The Zimmerman defense team never brought Stand Your Ground as legal strategy because it simply did not apply as it was straight self-defense. SYG came to be a part of the narrative because at the time there was a big push by the Left, Gun Control and even some District Attorneys to get rid of the law passed in Florida in 2007. They all failed some years later when the Florida Supreme Court ratified it with a case in which a defendant used his firearm to thwart the deadly attack of two individuals who took offense when they were told to stop bothering females in a group at a restaurant. Now the funny part is that particular case had little coverage or protest among the Usual Gun Control Suspects for reasons they did not make very clear, but if I were to guess, it may have been because the attackers were Hispanic and the “defendant” was Black and no Whites were involved so race-baiting could not be used.
And one more thing about the Gifford’s post. “…justify racist murderers like Trayvon’s.” Allow me to introduce George Zimmerman’s mother: Gladys Mesa Zimmerman, born in Peru.
If there was a whitewash in the whole reporting of this case, was eliminating the Hispanic roots of George Zimmerman because they needed a White dude to make the whole crap look like racist-inspired.

"Murdered?" I'd think Zimmerman has a libel case there. Oh, and they really don't want a conversation of facts about race and murders because their darling group is over represented there.
As I recall that whole case highlighted the absolute manure spread by the media and the politicians. Zimmerman never should have been prosecuted, but the decision was a political one made by Florida’s AG. Who is now the U.S. AG. The case was an attempt to railroad Zimmerman, and was full of enough holes to drive a small ship through. I’m sure there would be grounds for disbarment for some of the prosecutors involved.
