At the risk of repeating myself.

I have to ask President Trump once more to make the whole city of Chicago and Cook County full fledged Sanctuary locations. And then give a week or two of well-deserved rest to all ICE personnel in the area while announcing that any illegal who is making his or her way to Chicago will not be stopped during that timeframe.

After that 2-week period is over, full immigration-enforcement actions will be renewed outside Chicago and Cook Counties and any illegal alien found outside that amnesty area will be subjected to Federal law.

No Federal funds will be provided once the Mayor declares state of emergency. He can ask all the money he wants to the governor who will also be denied Federal funds because a self-inflicted emergency does not deserve money from the taxpayers outside Illinois. Of course, they can always raise taxes within the state to cover for the free hotel room, free food and free medical care for the new influx of people seeking “refuge” because they were promised heaven on Chicago. I figure doubling the state income tax ( Individual income tax rate for 2025 is 4.95%, and the corporate income tax rate is 9.5%) somewhat, at least in the first 12 months.

PS: I believe $2 billion can be allocated for illegals if the Mayor fully goes BLM and defunds Chicago PD. It is not like they will be many officers still on patrol after that particular shitshow begins anyway. Probably a majority simply go “Eff This!” and either apply for retirement or simply quit and go to another force.

So please Mr. President Make Chicago Sanctuary Again.
