Actually, two of them. USA Today being one:
However, USA Today has decided to withhold its endorsement this cycle, citing a commitment to fostering balanced discussions rather than aligning with a specific candidate, reverting to neutrality.
As reported by The Hill, over 200 American outlets under USA Today's parent company Gannett will not back candidates "in presidential or national races," according to the newspaper.
"None of the USA Today Network publications are endorsing in presidential or national races," a spokesperson for the outlet told The Hill on Monday.
Even though this was stated in 2022 and I missed it, the fact that the South Florida Sun Sentinel did not support Biden’s reelection or supports Kamala run is shocking to yours truly.
In a post by the Sun Sentinel's editorial board in 2022, the newspaper said: "The South Florida Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel will no longer endorse candidates in races for governor, Senate or president, including in the 2022 races for U.S. Senate and governor. This is a company-wide decision and very limited in scope."
The Sun Sentinel is published in Broward County. You cannot get any Deep Indigo Blue than Broward County unless you move to San Francisco or NYC and then is a toss-up. All voting upgrades that Florida has gone through were because shenanigans that occurred there and Democratic elections personnel had to be removed by the state because they would not adhere to the new norms. They are staunchly anti-gun and conjoined with weak ass RINOS, they have been the reason Florida is lagging behind in getting rid of bad gun laws from 50 years ago and more. And if I remember correctly, they were one of three or four counties that did not go for Trump in the last election even when Miami-Dade broke ranks and went red. Or they are reading the writing in the wall, and it does not bode well for their Liberals.
The Sun Sentinel editorial board could have changed their minds with Kamala and say they needed to step up for “the good of the state and the country” but they haven’t and probably won’t. My guess is that they saw the walking corpse called Miami Herald and decided they did not want to end up selling real state to cover dwindling payroll because income had gone away due to partisanship on their part.
And on that front, the Miami Herald so far has been mute about endorsement.
Weird how this new found commitment to balance was suddenly discovered this Presidential election. Somehow, I think... if the Democrats were not running an empty shell of a candidate, the endorsements might still be on. But, they cannot say anything good about one candidate, and they are afraid to say anything good about the other one. So... they are suddenly non-partisan.
