And they ratcheted things up.
The thing I was afraid of happened.
The company owning the warehouse was initially in conversation with ICE, but after being practically blackmailed by the local government, they had backed down from the process. And even then, an AWFUL shows up and tries to set the place on fire for…. Justice? Freedom? Human Rights? Menopause?
Has she been caught? Not at the writing of this post and if caught, I get the feeling that the local prosecutors will let her go with a misdemeanor vandalism because the local gov was opposed to ICE as apparently the city’s pallor is Blue (D).
And she not being properly punished will result in other fellow nutjobs attempting and eventually being successful on setting a building on fire with will result on deaths of what they call Nazis, but in all probability it will result in the demise of people that had nothing to do with their madness. Oh yes, that building may very well be the house or apartment where you live because you disagree with them and therefore you should burn.
Some states make any arson a felony worth using deadly force to stop. Florida does so, but in Tennessee and many other states, setting fire to an unoccupied structure is not a forcible felony worth buckshot to the brainpan. Apparently those legislatures have deemed fire a very predictable and controllable reaction that will surely confine itself to a well defined area and present no risk to other buildings and people.
And I know some good fellows reading this may bring up the point that “Well, maybe she did not know the warehouse would not be used for detention center as initially informed. Maybe she missed the memo.” One: she still committed arson and Two: what if she knew it was over and still decided contrition (forced or otherwise) is not enough and just the mere consideration of working with ICE is enough for a severe and destructive punishment?

She seems to be an AWFUL with intellegence issues. Playing with flammable liquid like she is doing while wearing sandals?
Strikes me, this is the sort of topic that makes people get real quiet. (I know, I know, looking in a mirror now...)
