The knife’s blade has the capacity of inflict and did inflict a deadly wound to another human being. You can argue that he had the right to defend himself, but we know that one thing is claiming self-defense and the other is to convince a jury of the fact. But trying to change facts to accommodate politics is absurd and downright stupid.
