It seems that always seems to come up when I want to attend the NRAAM or other interesting gathering of gun people. The money I had squirreled away for the trip with the missus to attend the Annual Meeting and have a little vacation has to be rerouted to sudden unexpected expenses because we are adults and seemingly doing major house repairs take precedent over fun.
That is one of what I calculate 7 to 8 floor joists that will need replacement around this 80-year-old house. I am sure I will find other surprises (none good, I fear) a I dig deeper. Good news is that both plumbing and electrical are in great shape and do not need fixing other than updating some light switches installed probably around the Reagan administration.
Anyway, if any of you dear reads feel like subscribing and help this wretched fella have a solid floor, it would be greatly appreciated.
And whomever goes to the NRAAM, do have fun and here is to have the next NRAAM in Nashville again so I may actually have a remote chance to go.
Uh, oh...
Termites as well?
Gad, I hope not for your sake.
Pressed particle board over plywood??? Goood luck with that, Miguel!
