Since you sorta brought it up, remember the name of the Attorney General who decided to prosecute George Zimmerman for what was a clear cut case of self-defense?

Pam Bondi. And she’s doing a helluva job now. Just ask her.

Sorry, that was Angela Corey. And she got kicked out of office for that and other cases where she was an aboslute nutcase.

I thought I remember Bondi being involved. Was she Florida AG at the time? If so, doesn't mean that she's ultimately responsible?

Corey was directly appointed to the case by Governor Scott. Full authonomy...

IIRC, Bondi was A.G. and said they'd thoroughly investigate ... and that's the end of her direct involvement. (To be fair, suspicious deaths SHOULD be investigated.) Angela Corey was the Special Prosecutor appointed by Gov. Scott and pressed forward, and would have bypassed the grand jury to pursue charges. The FBI was involved and Corey interviewed a bunch of FBI agents, too.

So:

Sanford police investigated and found no evidence to dispute Zimmerman's self-defense claim.

Seminole County investigated and found no evidence to dispute Zimmerman's self-defense claim.

FDLE investigated and found no evidence to dispute Zimmerman's self-defense claim.

The FBI investigated -- first the criminal division, and later the civil rights division -- and found no evidence to dispute Zimmerman's self-defense claim.

But Angela Corey wanted to press charges and had full autonomy as Special Prosecutor.

Thank you for the lucid post.

IIRC the State decided to NOT prosecute and Barry sent the Feds in to prosecute the case.

The Feds investigated, first the criminal division and then the civil rights division, and both investigations were dropped because NEITHER could find enough evidence to dispute Zimmerman's self-defense claim. (No, not even the civil rights division, which is a MUCH lower standard of proof.)

Barry simply commented on the case and showed great sympathy (too much, IMHO, given that the investigations hadn't concluded yet) toward Trayvon & Family.

Angela Corey was a state prosecutor empowered by Governor Scott as a Special Prosecutor and given full autonomy over the case. The ENTIRE prosecution and trial happened at the state level.

Luigi Mangone for Brian Thomson's assassin. As far as fairness is concerned, I sincerely hope that karma pays them a visit.

1. I don't have a CIA TS clearance and it was compartmentalized anyway.

2. Yes.

3. Did anyone ever see a vid or pic of the CEO DRT on the pavement? Only thing I ever saw was the short clip of him allegedly getting shot and falling out of the frame. Only one camera? Really?

They only important thing is what they don't tell you.

I am hearing radio ads from NBC News saying they are all about the facts, and they are trustworthy.

.

What a laugh. They, and the rest of the MSM news is responsible for exactly this outcome.

Thanks for an instructive post, Miguel. I could only answer question # 2 correctly. Psyops is a science. Manipulation is an art.

I could answer questions #2 and #3, but only because the media made Luigi Mangione into some kind of folk hero for murdering Brian Thompson*.

The media celebrates murder when it's politically expedient to do so, i.e. when the "right people" get killed.

Trayvon Martin's killing -- in 100% lawful self-defense -- was "a tragedy," but do you think they'd feel or report the same if any of the death threats against George Zimmerman had been successfully executed? No, I think that person would have been labeled a hero for killing the racist "White Hispanic" hatey-hate murderer, and the media would try to sweep it under the rug; their trial would get zero coverage.

---------

* - The media NEVER just uses his name; it's ALWAYS "UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson". On one hand, "Brian" and "Thompson" are common enough names that there are probably hundreds if not thousands of guys named Brian Thompson in the U.S., but on the other hand I think it's also to remind us of the supposed "crimes" for which he deserved execution. His job, and therefore the justification for killing him, is inseparable from his identity.

On a similar note, how many times early in the case did they mention just "George Zimmerman" vs. "neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman", as if to cast the shadow on neighborhood watch groups for supposedly trying to take over policing?
