The imagery on itself shows much less than any modern slasher movie. But it is more drastic than anything Hollywood has put out.
From first stab to collapse it was only 20 seconds. I believe that even if this happened in a top tier ER with the best personnel and equipment, she would have survived.
Many I believe are already talking with renewed strength about the upmost need of stay alert, keep scanning and avoid burying our heads in the Smartphone sands. I need not to add to that, but I will repeat that we have reached the point where a sizable group of people now considers the senseless killing another human being something not only normal but almost a blessing to be sought. For that sizable group, human life is no longer a precious commodity to keep safe but a pesky waste of breathing air and nagging expressions that must be erased without fear of retribution and even receiving a congratulatory cheer for a job well done.
How long can we keep our own scruples and begin retribution is something I cannot gauge. I despise the idea of having to resort to unchecked violence, but it is getting to a point where decency is no longer something that can be used to appeal to the other side to stop their search for power by any means and that the only thing that will make them reconsider and accept civilized terms of behavior is a twofold return on their violence.

This is NOT an isolated incident. The left brought suit in the late 1970s and 1980s, and closed the state-run mental hospitals because "You are holding them against their will," and the leftist judges agreed. Thus, opening the gates and turning thousands of demonstrably mentally ill and some overtly criminally insane people loose on the streets. They were referred to "Community Mental Health Clinics" that were nonexistent. Bringing us to where we are today. Today, situational awareness is mandatory, not an option.
I have followed the advice of John Wylder ("Avoid crowds - Get Out of the Cities. - NOW. A year too soon is better than a day too late") and moved to a small town in a VERY red state. When I go into town or when I journey an hour+ to"the BIGer city" I am acutely aware of who/what is around me, where they are, and what they are doing. Even after many years, I still evaluate everything around me, assigning a threat level and adjusting my mental, and sometimes my physical posture accordingly.
I reiterate some of my posts from the other day, and add a couple of new ones
1) The time is coming when you will have to decide to take a knee or make a stand
2) The time is quickly approaching when good men will have to do bad things to bad people.
3)"An armed society is a polite society" - Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.” ― Robert A. Heinlein
4)“People sleep peaceably in their bed at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” - Eric Arthur Blair (AKA - George Orwell)
5)‘Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.’- Gen Mattis USMC
6)“Always carry a knife with you, just in case there's cheesecake, or you need to stab someone in the throat” - General Mattis USMC - (Firearms run out of ammunition. A knife never runs out of slash or stab - jlr)
